Elina & Canelita

Elina is my niece and she reminds me so much of myself when I was younger. I was never as pretty (lol) but I was also goofy and had good intentions but was sometimes misunderstood. I love my niece. Sometimes I feel like I’m too hard on her but I want to be the voice of reason I know I needed at her age. Anyways, Elina loooooves dogs and here is one them named Canelita.

OH! and for these pictures, we used a funny technique I saw online that I’ve been wanting to try for ages. The photographers on social media used pantyhose to cover their lens, I didn’t have that but I did have an old shirt with similar material. I just wrapped a piece of that fabric around my lens to get that hazy-dreamy look you see in the photos below. I loved the effect! These studio-like shots were taken in my bedroom using a white fabric backdrop.
